  • Ingrown Hairs – When hair follicles aren’t allowed to push through the surface because they are clogged with oil and sebum, they become ingrown. This also causes inflammation and blemishes that are typically associated with acne.
  • Bacteria – Lastly, some people get acne because they simply aren’t taking proper care of their skin. When you don’t wash your face every day, touch your face with dirty hands and use creams that are too heavy and clog the pores, acne will start to develop. Drinking plenty of water will help prevent your body from producing too much sebum for skin protection.

It can be a tough urge to deny but popping pimples can produce new ones due to the bacteria and germs that are on your hands when you do it.

4. Avoid Makeup

This tip is for women: don’t apply too much makeup. Try to only apply makeup when it is necessary.

5. Avoid Touching your Face

In general, you should avoid touching your face with your hands as much as possible.
