Jenni’s DIY Exfoliating Cleanser Recipe
Jenni has recently discovered the intriguing concept of cleansing grains. These are dry ingredients that you can use as an exfoliating cleanser or mask. All you have to do is prepare your cleansing grains and store them in a jar.
For each cleanse, take out a small amount of the mixture, add water, then massage all over your face. She says that this is her go-to cleansing routine when she isn’t wearing makeup, and it is suitable for sensitive skin too!
How To Prepare Jenni’s DIY Cleanser
To prepare this effective cleanser cum mask, you will need the following ingredients:
- Kaolin Clay – The gentlest form of clay to unclog and deep clean the pores.
- Organic Oatmeal – Contains saponins that have skin-cleansing properties while being gentle.
- Lavender and Chamomile – Soothing herbs that will calm your skin and senses.
- Coconut Milk Powder – Soothing and hydrating.
Add all the ingredients except the Kaolin clay in equal proportions to a grinder. Grind to a fine powder and add an equal portion of kaolin clay. Mix well and store in a clean and dry container.
How To Use Jenni’s Cleansing Grains
To use the cleansing grain mixture you have prepared, mix a small quantity of the powder with water or a hydrosol of your choice. Once you get a paste, apply it in circular motions to your face. You can rinse it off after massaging for a minute or leave it on for 10 minutes as a mask. The cleansing grains will leave your skin clean and calm and without dryness or irritation.
